Home to two semi-professional Football Clubs, Hakoah Sydney City East Football Club and Dunbar Rovers Football Club, Hensley Reserve, is located in Eastgardens within the Bayside Council, NSW.
The Hensley Soccer field resurfacing is the latest installation partnership between FieldTurf Australia and Turf One. But this wasn’t the first time FieldTurf Australia and Turf One had joined forces for Hensley Reserve, as the Beynon running track was installed in July 2020.
With the installation of FieldTurf RGF XM7 system,
it is the first time in Australia that a sports facility features both a Beynon running track and a FieldTurf artificial grass surface.

FIELDTURF RGF XM7 : PREMIUM DUAL FIBRE TECHNOLOGY AT HENSLEY
Completed in April 2022, Hensley Reserve Soccer Field successfully passed the FIFA Quality certification. The surface and infill were replaced using the FieldTurf RGF XM7 system, while reusing the in-situ pad previously installed.
Used for the first time in Australia, FieldTurf RGF XM7 artificial grass combines our German made FieldTurf XM7 monofilament fibre with a fibrillated fibre in an “ABAB” tuft to obtain a high performance, high density, and balanced playing system.
The fibrillation process of the slit-film fibre makes it extremely long-lasting and offers excellent infill encapsulation while the XM7 monofilament provides a dense and natural look whilst delivering a long-lasting surface with an exceptional price-performance ratio.
BEYNON RUNNING TRACKS : MAKING FAST LOOK GOOD

The running track installed uses the Beynon BSS 300 system. This system adds a touch of performance and feel underfoot, especially for long-distance runners. The BSS 300 is World Athletics Certified and the same system installed at Harvard University.
